Students and staff celebrate for Royal visit

Students and Staff were treated to free cakes to celebrate the visit of His Royal Highness the Earl of Wessex.  Students lined the corridors of the Academy to greet His Royal Highness.  He then went on to talk to the Sixth Form students about their Ambitions and Aspirations.  His Royal Highness was then whisked off to officially open the new Arle 3G All-Weather Pitch.

Welcome to All Saints’ Academy, Cheltenham

All Saints' Academy - Oct 2011 from All Saints Academy on Vimeo.

Our new Academy, is the first new-build Academy in Gloucestershire and a church Academy for the whole community, welcoming those of all faiths and none.

Sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of Clifton and the Anglican Diocese of Gloucester, both of whom have a long history of involvement with education, the Academy offers 900 places for students aged 11-16 and a 250-place sixth form with academic & vocational courses for 16-19 year olds.

The Academy opened in a state-of-the art new building in September 2011.

All Saints' Vision

  • Outstanding - providing outstanding opportunities in an inspiring environment and outstanding education.
  • Christian - Helping people to understand and live out the gospel values of love, peace, justice, respect, reconciliation and service to others.
  • Inclusive - Treating everyone as unique and enabling each person to fulfill their God-given potential.
  • Community - working in partnership to transform the aspirations of young people and serve the Cheltenham community.

We  achieve this by creating a stimulating environment in which staff can deliver creative, challenging and imaginative courses. The curriculum will be relevant and tailored to the individual needs of all students and be of the highest possible quality.

Our brand new, up-to-date facilities provide not only a place of learning and discovery but also a centre to support family learning and community activity. The Academy will be outward-facing, building an expanding network of links locally, nationally and internationally with parents, parishes, schools, community groups, employers, colleges and the universities.
