Uniforms & price lists
The use of colour in the uniform has been carefully chosen by the Sponsors. The distinctive use of red in the uniform reflects the liturgical colour used in the church to represent many of the Saints. The use of gold adds richness to the uniform and is a colour associated not only with a precious metal but also with the celebration of the principle Christian festivals, including Christmas, Easter and the Ascension.
The formal style of the design, whilst reflecting many of the features you would expect to find in a school uniform, also has several distinctive features. The use of a formal jacket as opposed to a traditional school blazer with a rich red lining and red piping is not only business-like but smart, supporting the Sponsors' vision to engender a sense of pride, not only in personal appearance but also in the Academy itself. As part of the design process, the Sponsors consulted students at Christ College about the uniform, including the final design of the jacket and tie.
The Sponsors have carefully and ethically sourced the uniform at a reasonable price.
Sixth Former's are required to wear 'smart business-like attire'.
When ordering on-line the correct payment is made into the ‘uniform purse’.
