The Earl of Wessex visits All Saints' Academy

On 13th November His Royal Highness The Earl of Wessex came to visit All Saints' Academy.  Prince Edward spoke with many students that greeted him in the corridors before he spoke with Sixth Form students about their ambitions and aspirations.

Prince Edward was very well received and tried to talk to as many students as possible.

Due to bad weather His Royal Highness was relocated to the sports hall to reveal the opening plaque of the new Arle 3G All-Weather Pitch.  He tossed a coin to decide who kicked off the match.

Prince Edward then enjoyed a finger Buffet cooked by Year 11 Hospitality and Catering Students; Ollie Martin, Evie Townsend, Lucie Jelfs, Matt Sherman, James Ho, Ashleigh Danby and Elliot Offer.

Students were all treated to free cupcakes to celebrate made by dedicated staff members; Miss Skelding, Miss Houghton, Mr Broady, Mr Edgar and Sixth Form student Jake Higgins.
