Having opened in September 2011 in a brand new, state-of-the-art facility, All Saints’ Academy will grow to cater for 1,150 students, including 250 in its new Sixth Form. This position will enable the successful candidate to contribute to ALL levels.
We are seeking to appoint a creative, enthusiastic and inspiring Head of Geography to join our friendly and dynamic Humanities team.
Geography is part of a Learning Area that also includes History, Art, Foreign Languages and other social science subjects.
We welcome applications from teachers who are able to offer inspirational lessons, excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to improvement. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join an Academy that is just finishing its first year and that has outstanding professional development opportunities along with excellent prospects for further promotion, support and a progressive teacher development programme. The present Team Leader of Geography is retiring, and we are looking forward to appointing a dynamic new leader who will bring new initiatives to a vital subject for all young people.

TEACHER OF MATHEMATICS MPS/UPS
START DATE: September 2012
We are looking to appoint a teacher of mathematics to add to the current team of 7 teachers. We would like to appoint somebody who can provide a dynamic, interesting and motivational approach to their teaching.
As the academy was built with a multi million pound budget we have state of the art ICT resources to help students learning and would like to appoint somebody who can be inspirational in their use of these resources.
There will be opportunities to teach to all levels.

SECOND in MATHEMATICS - MPS/UPS + 2A/2B (Depending on experience)

We are looking to appoint a second in charge of mathematics to work with a team of 7 teachers. We are looking for somebody who is ready to take responsibility within the department. We see this as a great opportunity to develop the person’s skills to be a leader within schools.
They would be working with the Team Leader for Mathematics on developing the mathematical diet of all students across years 7-13. We would hope that they would be able to lead on a phase within the academy along with taking responsibility for a key development area for the department. We would also like to appoint somebody who can provide a dynamic, interesting and motivational approach to their teaching.

The current specification for GCSE is AQA A & B. There are no A-Level groups at present, but we would like to be able to run A-Level Geography in the future. BTEC Level 3 Travel and Tourism will commence in September, and there will be the opportunity to be involved in this new development.

SELF-EMPLOYED COURSE TUTORS WANTED
Location: All Saints’ Academy, Cheltenham
Ref: Community evening and weekend education/recreational course programme
All Saints’ Academy is looking to start up a community evening and weekend education/recreational course programme. The aim is to make use of our brand new up-to-date facilities and to provide not only a place of learning and discovery but also a centre to support family learning and community activity. The Academy is outward-facing, building an expanding network of links locally, nationally and internationally with parents, parishes, schools, community groups, employers, colleges and the universities.
Tutor Duties:
We are looking for self-employed tutors to deliver courses at All Saints’ Academy making use of the new facilities that the Academy has to offer.
The tutor must be able to administer their own course and are able to deliver all aspects of the course including student welfare, course timetables, all assessments and is capable of delivering 100% of the course.
Qualifications/Experience
All Tutors must be suitable qualified or experienced in their given field.
